What is the cost of the course?

For the current prices for our Cosmetology, Nail Technician or Instructor courses, please refer to the "Courses" Page. These prices include all fees, taxes and tuition.


How long will it take?

Because each course is based on hours spent leaning every hour missed must be made up. For the Cosmetology course we require 1800 hours, which with perfect attendance will be completed in about 54 weeks! The nail tech course is 700 hours so with perfect attendance will be completed in about 21 weeks! The instructor course is 600 hours and can therefore be completed in about 18 weeks!


What are the days and hours of attendance?

Chetta’s Academy is open Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. There are no weekend or evening classes available.


Can I attend school part time?

Because the best education possible is with fulltime attendance that is all we offer.


If I were to attend Chetta’s Academy how would I pay for my education?

Chetta’s is accredited by NACCAS and therefore offers Pell Grants or student loans for those who qualify. Private pay financing is also an option for those who wish to take that route.


When will my course start?

January, March, June, and September generally bring with them a new set of cosmetology students! Also six times a year new nail techs are welcomed at Chetta’s. To find out the next class or the exact please feel free to call and get your information!


Can I start my course with the next class?

Enrollment to the academy is on a first come first serve basis as class sizes are limited. However if you enroll and the class is full you are guaranteed a spot in the next class.


How do I apply?

Call 360-410-0388 and ask for an application for enrollment, also ask for a FAFSA if you wish to apply for financial aid. Once these forms have been completed return them to the academy where the loan officer can process them. She will get back to you in two business days.


What if I don’t qualify for financial aid?

Please call to make an appointment to meet with the financial aid officer who can help you with student loans or set you up to self pay.
